Pet Sounds Reimagined & Bird With Strings

This year Pet Sounds Reimagined has expanded to include the Festival Chamber Orchestra, exploring the music of the Beach Boys in in yet more exciting and innovative ways.

Alongside this ‘Bird with Strings’ uses the wonderfully lush orchestral arrangements which feature on the album’ Charlie Parker with Strings’ which he recorded in the late 1940’s and early 50’s.

Both Albums are seen as iconic in their own right and the new versions performed this evening, present a wonderful fusion of Classical and Jazz with a wonderful tapestry of Musical Styles and colours.
